Self control is essential

Self control is the ability to be cool when something is heating you up,it means confronting against the negative emotions or desires of the flesh or body,of recent,a bishop went compromising with the flesh or lacked self control till as for now he hate his former tittle,this man of God,even though the bible states touch not but this is a life living truth!this man had a weakness with ladies,he lusted and sometimes fell in fornication traps!he was married at age 40,during the referendum in kenya we had NGO's that came up to train church leaders in one of the towns in a hotel i'll not mention,after the meeting each one was given transport allowance,and those who came from afar distance werd booked to log to go home the next day!i was amongst those who remained to log,i went out just to relax after supper in the pavements,a young teenager in a school uniform worked steadly to where i was sitting and asked me if i knew ben* not his real name,pointing at one of the excective vehicles in the parking yard,that's his vehicle with KBJ number plate!she stressed!i asked, you mean bishop ben!i asked in astonishment!she remarked i don't know whether is a bishop or who but i know him as my boy friend!suprised still,she deeped into her pocket and gave me a bunch of photo she took with him in a shameful....i couldn't imagine,i told her well let me go upstair and get him for you,he was one of our key organizing officials,i went upstair and met my friend pastor from within the town and told him the story,he just smilled,and whispered in my ear,thats who he is what can we do yet he is our bishop!well i went further to inform him there is a student outside who need him,somehow shocked he said i'll check her out....this is a true story with a real touching sensation for the case later was reported as a headline in one of the news prints,a senior bishop found with a pupil!a'm here tn tell you without selfcontrol you're exposed to shame ,danger and distruction,later after this shameful case,fellow pastors compelled him to marry to avoid embarrasing the preachers cv,he engage a lady almost immediately but six month later defiled this lady when she visited her resident,she gave her some dollars to hide the sin,but pregnance revealed the truth!she quietly dumped the lady she was called susy( not her really name)there was a lady her cousin that got saved in one of our revival meetings and God had really favoured her to pursue her studies in germany and later employed there.she had just visited kenya for vacation,she was a member of the church of Bishop Ben,she had opportunity to chat with the Bishop after church service and they exchanged email address.back to germany she recieved an email proposing her hand for marriage.not aware of the history of the bishop she gave in for engagement and soon began marriages plans immediately,the bishop calculated well that the wedding corresponds to the dates her cousin would be in labour pains to prevent susy from stopping the wedding,was just a month to the wedding when our senior pastor got a call from Elizer the innocent lady she had led her to salvation some years back she told him she was planning to wed a bishop in a month time!our senior pastor after a keen study he realized the trap Elizer was in,he tried his best to convince her against all invain!the wedding date came,she had returned from germany ready to recieve her bridegroom.all advise were too late to stop the lady in love!twas officiating time when things turned sower,the wedding was attend by over 4000 people and it was forced to be done in an open field with tents eracted to shed of the sun,i'm told the gown of the bride costs could pay a high school teacher in kenya for three and a half years comfortable.the cakes were enormous designed in ducks shape,they were seven in number,well decorated with baloons and purple ribbons,each weighed 150kg,vistors from germany had come to witness,in a twinkling of an eye a vehicle zoomed in a speed to the side,scaring people to give way,a woman in a green maturnaty attare with a bulging stomach ran out it with a long somali sword to the pulpit site,screeming to the top of her voice,this my husband!everybody was on his or her feet to try to get the seen well,fortunately young men were able to get the sword of here hands,as she struggled to reach her cousin that was wedding her husband.twas very bad,they were able to keep her off!they took her back to the vehicle.we later learnt the father had hired a taxi to ferry her daughter to stop the wedding but was all invain,she soon began screeming even the more and women who had compassion helped her deliver a duplicate baby boy on a wedding ground!the marriage master due to the corruption went ahead and officiated the marriage!this story has abused the name of christianity in that locality,but we're soon planning an outreach in that area to clear the air,news when all over even in newspapers,even local secular musicians has songs on record!as a'm writing the marriage is broken the lady is in germany with a baby girl while the bishop is in kenya depoted from germany after his visa was counselled,i can't give that story here due to the limited space,but the bishop is stricken from grace to grass,he can't withstand being called a bishop anymore!life without character and self cöntrol is like speeding on a rocky steep slope minus breaks you'll never help crushing up even if you have international driving license!take care!
